 For the past 20 years, Tours of Exploration has developed soft adventure, birdwatching, wildlife viewing, natural history, culture and ecotourism programs in areas of Canada, Central America, South America, Africa, Asia and the South Pacific. We have built up a solid reputation in the travel industry by delivering unique tours in a reliable, educational and enjoyable environment. Tours of Exploration is a fully licensed tour operator/travel agency. We offer several choices to suit a wide range of travel styles. Our FIXED DATE trips allow travellers to join in special interest group nature or cultural tours. Our CUSTOM trips mean that couples and groups can work with us to create a flexible program that suits their own interests and allows them to travel on dates specific to their holiday schedule. For colleges, Universities and Special interest organizations we add meaningful educational support to this customized option. All of our programs are escorted locally.
Our partners and staff have well over 50 years of combined travel experience, which with a worldwide network of reliable overseas and Canadian representatives, enables us to provide carefully planned travel arrangements to any destination in the world.

About Tours of Exploration
 We specialize in service before, during and after your trip.
Our tours educate you in the natural beauty and cultural splendours of the local environments while providing a level of comfort suitable to Western standards yet in keeping with the local ambiance and character.
Tours of Exploration understands that you will experience different conditions and cultural norms so we provide information booklets to prepare you before your departure.
The number of participants in each tour is kept small ensuring more personal attention to each tour member. This number of participants is based on each destinations ecosensitive carrying capacity.
We provide knowledgeable local escorts and guides, even for groups of 2 persons.
Many of our tours are accompanied by celebrated hosts including zoologists, archaeologists, photographers, travel writers and artists who offer their expertise through a series of tour lectures. Their specialized interest compliments the tour.
We try to maximize the enjoyment of the visitor while keeping our impact on environmental and cultural areas to a minimum.
We do our best to work within Ecotourism guidelines.
